Huddersfield Town has signed a brand-new commercial partnership with real-money gaming platform SportsBroker!
The exciting, significant partnership will see the company’s logo on the back of the Terriers’ match day shirts.
Alongside this, SportsBroker will also sponsor a number of club assets, be shown on LED Boards and much more!
SportsBroker is a new, real-money gaming platform that allows players to buy and sell virtual shares in their favourite sports teams. The platform uses an algorithm that evaluates a team’s performance in each game, in order to determine how much their share price should rise or fall – factoring in goals, corners, cards, possession, shots and more.
SportsBroker launched into the UK in September 2020 with Premier League football and will be expanding into more leagues and sports over the coming months.
They also have some special offers and incentives lined up for Huddersfield Town supporters which will be revealed in due course!
James du Lieu, Founder and CEO of SportsBroker:
“We couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with Huddersfield Town; a fantastic club with such a long-standing heritage in the game. As a lifelong fan, it’s a dream come true to have this opportunity to work together as SportsBroker continues to go from strength to strength.
“We’re grateful that in the midst of such uncertain times we’re able to contribute in helping the Club achieve its goals, and likewise, take another step in the ongoing growth of SportsBroker.”
Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director, Ian Birtley, commented:
“We are delighted to welcome SportsBroker as an Official Partner of the Club for the remainder of the 20/21 season.
“I’m very much looking forward to working with the brand on their growth aspirations and I’m confident the association with Huddersfield Town can work hand-in-hand with them on their overall business objectives.
“The association will also bring some exciting initiatives for the Huddersfield Town supporters as well as delivering on SportsBroker’s brand awareness objectives.
“This is a great example of how I believe Huddersfield Town can still play an important role with brands on their business objectives, even in very challenging times, and also help deliver commercial revenues back into the Club to continue to help the Club be sustainable.”
