Seventh Heaven for Thornton + Ross Date: 25/06/2015

Huddersfield-based pharmaceutical manufacturer Thornton + Ross has extended its support of Huddersfield Town with a seventh successive year of commercial partnership in the 2015/16 season.

As a result, the logo of its muscular ache and pain relief brand Radian B will once again appear on the First Team’s second strip when it is revealed later today.

The current deal will also see another of Thornton + Ross’ brands, Covonia, reappear on the front of the Club’s new third strip during 2015/16.

Thornton + Ross initially became a partner of Huddersfield Town in March 2009, with its support of the Club extending to the First Team’s away shirts at the beginning of the ‘New Era’ under Chairman Dean Hoyle later that year.

Formed in 1922 in Huddersfield – the year Town lifted the FA Cup – Thornton + Ross employs over 550 people.

Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis and Senior Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson visited Thornton + Ross’ newly extended premises in Linthwaite to meet Director of Consumer Marketing John Chamberlin and Covonia Marketing Manager Ed Round and celebrated the extended deal.

“Thornton + Ross is a great Huddersfield-based company and it’s fantastic to see the company doing so well and expanding its premises in Linthwaite. Having visited there very recently to celebrate this new partnership, I can tell you it’s a very impressive place.

“I’m delighted that the Radian B and Covonia logos will continue to be displayed on the front of the Club’s second and third shirts respectively, as the brands have almost become synonymous with us. Its brilliant news that the Radian B logo will once again be part of a big kit reveal such as the one that is fast approaching on Friday.”
