Man Firth is the latest winner of Huddersfield Town’s Shooting Stars Award for November in association with PIB Insurance Brokers.
Man Firth Electric was born back in March 2020 when the National lockdown hit. Faced with the scary reality of losing their restaurant businesses, Natalie Firth & Will Pugh got their heads together to create an E- commerce business that stocked products that were ‘trending’ and not already a commodity product.
Starting with a Man Cave approach they sourced products to fit their chosen demographic; middle aged men with high disposable income.
As E scooter sales increased they stream lined the business to stock only personal Electric transport and changed the name from Man Firth to Man Firth Electric.
Fast forward 6 months and MFE is a leading Electric scooter company which aims to be the go to brand for all high end personal electric transport. With a predicted annual turnover of £400K in their first year Man Firth has huge potential to increase their brand within the UK and Europe.
Will Pugh, Founder and Owner at Man Firth said “We are delighted to receive this award which has come as such a surprise to us both. We thank Huddersfield Town and PIB Insurance Brokers for choosing Man Firth Electric. It’s been such a tough year for everyone globally due to the effects of Covid19 so we’re over the moon to see all our hard work recognised and gives us that extra confidence boost to get through this pandemic”.
Richard Blackburn, Managing Director at PIB Insurance Brokers commented “Man Firth Electric are worthy winners of this months award, this kind of entrepreneurial spirit to grasp success out of a difficult situation deserves to be celebrated.
