HTAFC Celebrate Chinese New Year with OPE Sports

February 10, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Help Huddersfield Town celebrate the latest Chinese New Year ‘The Year of the Dog’ in style by attending the Fireworks event held at PPG Canalside.

The fireworks will kick-off the celebrations as Town will host a huge display at the Club’s PPG Canalside Training Ground on Saturday 10 February 2018.

The event, which has been sponsored and supported by Club Sponsor OPE, will start at 5pm as a number of activities for the whole family get underway prior to the display.

Similarly to the Fireworks Spectacular held earlier this season, Pulse have been confirmed to produce the evening’s live entertainment and music.

A fun fair will be available for the Young Terriers attending the event, whilst food and drink stalls will also be on hand – some with an oriental twist!

The Town Foundation will put on a special penalty shoot-out game for youngsters and Terry and Tilly the Terriers will also be out and about to sign autographs and have selfies with young supporters.

The Fireworks display, provided by Club Partner Standard Fireworks, will commence at around 7.30pm.

Please note that there will be no parking available on site at PPG Canalside, although a limited number of disabled spaces will be available.

Tickets for the Fireworks event are available now for just £3 for adults and £1 for Under-18s and Over-60s! You can purchase ticket over the phone, at the Ticket Office or online by CLICKING HERE.

Please note if you purchase tickets on the evening of the fireworks event then the price will rise.

Huddersfield Town’s Corporate Events and Sales Coordinator Jasmine Roebuck commented:

“We are delighted to kick-off the Year of the Dog with a big celebratory fireworks event at PPG Canalside.

“I’m sure everyone will agree that the Fireworks Spectacular held earlier this year was a huge success and we expect this one to be a brilliant night for all the family as well.

“If you’re interested in coming to the event I would urge you to pre-purchase your tickets as soon as you can. Demand was very high earlier this season and believe it will be once again.

“Finally, I would like to thank OPE for helping us put on the event.”
