Huddersfield Town, in partnership with Kirklees College, will kick-off 2014’s Kirklees Business Week through the latest meeting of the Huddersfield Town Enterprise Academy (HTEA).
Organised by the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, Kirklees Business Week will be held between Monday 13 and Friday 17 October 2014, with the feature Kirklees Business Conference taking place at the John Smith’s Stadium on Wednesday 15 October.
The week throws a spotlight on the excellent work going on through Kirklees’ business community, with a focus on manufacturing, innovation and international business
The HTEA will get everything started through its latest meeting, which will start at 8.30am on the Monday (13 October) at Kirklees College’s new building in the centre of Town.
The Club’s premiere business networking group, the HTEA, which now boasts nearly 2,000 members, acts as a hub for businesses to network, create discussion and facilitate the local business community to work closely together.
This latest meeting will be a perfect start for the week, with a focus on ‘Growing your Business’. This is likely to be a lively debate as it will feature a panel of business leaders who can demonstrate how their businesses have grown and what tips are particularly useful in everyday working life.
The free to attend meeting will also allow for businesses to network after the debate.
Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis will host the morning and commented:
“We’re delighted that we have secured the prestigious opening slot of 2014’s Kirklees Business Week for the HTEA. Alongside our partner Kirklees College, we’re looking forward to setting the tone for what promises to be a very positive week for the business community in Huddersfield and beyond.
“Our HTEA events are always very popular, as every delegate – from large or small companies alike – can take something away that will benefit their business. This latest meeting promises to be even more galvanised due to the excitement of Kirklees Business Week, so it really isn’t one to miss!”
