Huddersfield Town has joined forces with Longley Park KIA in a new commercial partnership.
Based in Paddock, Huddersfield, Longley Park originally opened in March 1981 at the bottom of Somerset Road as a Lada dealership, taking its name from the nearby golf course.
Founded by Chairman Tony Baines, the garage service has been a part of the Huddersfield community for the last 33 years and now occupies a unique position in the town as an independent family-run dealership.
The KIA dealer has enjoyed amazing success over the last five years and has teamed up with ‘The Yorkshire Club’ to promote its range of new and used vehicles; servicing and maintenance to Town’s audience.
To celebrate the new partnership, Huddersfield Town’s Advertising Manager Mark Jacobs made the short journey to Paddock to meet Longley Park KIA Managing Director John Waite
“We’re delighted to team up with Longley Park Motors. Not only is KIA another powerful, worldwide brand that has chosen to associate with Huddersfield Town, but the dealership fits perfectly with our ethos of identifying and working alongside successful local businesses.
“The garage is understandably proud of its reputation as a company Huddersfield’s motorists can trust. I believe we can help to promote their wide range of services and offers through activity on match days and several other initiatives we are working on.
“Everyone at Huddersfield Town is looking forward to working with the staff at Longley Park during the coming weeks, months and years.”
John Waite, Managing Director of Longley Park KIA, added:
“We are absolutely delighted with this partnership, which will bring us to the attention of Town supporters and associates.
“Being independent we can offer customers many unique services and benefits. With KIA we have lots to shout about; an amazing and wide range of stylish cars all complete with the incredible KIA seven year warranty.
“In business we always look to progress and improve. The Terriers’ positive progress over the last few years very much reflects our own and we are excited about all moving forward together.
“We are a 100% Huddersfield company and proud of it. We care passionately about our town, customers and Huddersfield Town, and I think this is the best way to show it.”
