Town set to revisit China with Fired Up Date: 05/06/2014

Huddersfield Town and Club Partner Fired Up have teamed up for a second year to deliver a coaching programme in China.

The Huddersfield-based company has continued its commercial partnership with the Club, which saw a number of delegates and Huddersfield Town community coaches visit China last year.

The first stage was a week-long business trip to China, during which a delegation featuring the Fired Up Corporation, CBC Computers, Morris & Sons, Approved Food and Stockleys Sweets, visited organisations including HSBC in China, electrical giant TCL, the Chinese FA and Chinese Super League football team Guangzhou R&F.

The summer camp, which was run over an eight-week period, was the first of its kind for the club in China In total, 161 Chinese youngsters participated in the football element of the camp and were taught a variety of sport based and educational skills by Town’s coaches.

Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis said:

“Our first year working with Fired Up was fantastic; it couldn’t have gone any better! As a football club we wanted to make a difference to the communities that we visited across the world and Fired Up shared those goals and helped us deliver them.
