Town Director Sean Jarvis and the Town Foundation’s Mandy Taylor will be the star attraction at the latest Brighouse Link meeting on Wednesday 14 May.
Brighouse Link is a not-for-profit organisation, founded by Peter Sleigh and Debbie Story in November 2011, to enable stronger local business links, encourage local trade and provide business advice and training.
The next Brighouse Link meeting is on Wednesday 14 May 2014 at Prego in Brighouse, taking place between 11.30am and 2pm.
Sean will take to the stage to discuss his role as Commercial Director at Huddersfield Town. Having first joined the Club in 2006, Sean was added to the Board of Directors three years later. During his time with the Terriers, he has been heavily involved in developing new income and sponsorship activities – securing lucrative deals such as Kirklees College and Thornton + Ross’s sponsorship of the kits and more recently Rekorderlig in a record sponsorship deal for the Club.
Mandy giving attendees an insight into her life as the Corporate Fundraising Officer for the Town Foundation as well as her previous roles working at Kirkwood Hospice and the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
The meeting will also provide the opportunity for informal networking.
Anyone can book a place for the meeting by clicking HERE. The cost is £15, which includes VAT, all booking fees and an Italian meal.
Event organiser Peter Sleigh commented:
“We are delighted that Sean Jarvis and Mandy Taylor will be presenting at Brighouse Link at Prego Restaurant, Brighouse on 14 May.
“Sean and Mandy are very engaging and will be giving business tips as well as discussing Corporate Social Responsibility.”
Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis added:
“Mandy and I are honoured to have been asked to speak at the latest Brighouse Link meeting on 14 May. As our fans will know, we are very keen to position Huddersfield Town as a ‘hub’ for local business and Peter created Brighouse Link for the same reasons in his area.
“I hope we can give attendees an insight into life at a professional football club and that everyone takes something from the day that helps them in their own industry.”
