Huddersfield Town arranged an action-packed weekend for employees of Global Partner Viessmann ahead of the Club’s final game of the Premier League season.

With the plans in places to host the second ‘Vriendly’ between Viessmann installers from England and Germany, the German side flew over on Friday 11 May 2018.

After arriving in the UK, the German side had a tour round Manchester United’s Old Trafford Stadium before preparing for the big ‘Vriendly’.

On Saturday 12 May 2018, the players tucked into a healthy and nutritious meal at PPG Canalside before being greeted by First Team players Michael Hefele and Elias Kachunga.

Both ‘Hef’ and ‘Kache’ stayed to watch the ‘Vriendly’ as Germany beat England 8-1 on the pitch at Town’s Training Ground.

Following the match, the German side received their winning trophies before a further presentation took place at the Cedar Court Hotel.

On Sunday 13 May 2018, the installers all attended the PPG Canalside Fanzone, where they enjoyed the fantastic pre-match atmosphere before heading to the John Smith’s Stadium.

Viessmann employees from both England and Germany ended Town’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, the Club’s final Premier League game of the season before the German side flew back home.

Viessmann extended and increased its sponsorship of Huddersfield Town ahead of the Club’s first ever Premier League season.

As the Club’s official heating partner, Viessmann continued as team sheet sponsor and became exclusive title sponsor of ‘Club Town’, a new area of 64 executive heated seats situated behind both home and away dugouts.

Viessmann branding has also appeared on the heated seats, in the matchday programme, on pitch-side display boards, on the team sheets themselves and via social media.
