Huddersfield Town hosted its second annual Partners’ Lunch at the John Smith’s Stadium on Friday 9 March 2018.

All of the Club’s commercial business partners were invited to the Stadium for lunch, which was sponsored by Club Partner OPE Sports, as well as a Q&A session with a panel of Directors from Huddersfield Town.

The event also provided a networking opportunity for businesses, especially for the Club’s more recent partners.

The Partners’ Lunch was inaugurated as a celebration of Town’s ‘Huddersfield Hundred’, when the Club signed its 100th commercial partnership in February 2017.

The Club has continued to attract support from local and national businesses, but Town’s promotion to the Premier League has now attracted companies from around the world to the prospect of becoming a partner of Huddersfield Town.

On Town’s Club Partners, Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:

“We must never forget where we’ve come from as a football club.

“The people in the room today have been supporting us on cold Tuesday nights in League 1, so these guys have earned the right to be part of the Club; they’ve supported all those years.

“By the same token, you have to give opportunities to people who want to get involved. Our shirt sponsor, OPE, coined the phrase earlier ‘Up the Town’, so you’ve got to embrace new people. Peter from OPE has become a Terrier.

“It’s all about the integration and if those individuals can be the fabric of the Club then it’ll be even better for us and we can grow.”
