Cedar Court Huddersfield/Halifax will continue to be the Official Hotel Partner of Huddersfield Town during the 2013/14 season thanks to a 12-month partnership extension.
The hotel, based at Ainley Top in Huddersfield, has helped to accommodate several players arriving at ‘The Yorkshire Club’ during the last two years in partnership and one of those – Spaniard Cristian Lopez – visited again this week to celebrate the extension.
Cristian is pictured alongside Commercial Director Sean Jarvis, together with Cedar Court’s General Manager Kirsti Wilkinson and Sales Manager Kelly Knowles.
The extended partnership will also see Huddersfield Town hold several events at the hotel over the course of the football season, building on the success of the 2013 Annual Awards ceremony (click HERE for a review).
The hotel’s logo and branding will also appear on Town’s ‘print at home’ tickets and around the Stadium during the current Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Sean Jarvis, Town’s Commercial Director, thanked Cedar Court for its continued support:
“Cedar Court in Huddersfield is a high-quality hotel, which has been fantastic for the Club both in terms of hosting large functions and housing our incoming players. I cannot recommend them highly enough for anyone looking for accommodation in the area.
“As important as it is for us to look for new businesses and corporate partners to work alongside, it is just as essential for us to work hard to retain our existing, long term partners and we are delighted that Cedar Court has got worthwhile, tangible results for the first two years of its partnership with the Football Club.
“We are already planning some fantastic events for the 2013/14 season and are looking forward to working alongside Cedar Court Huddersfield/Halifax once again over the forthcoming months and years”.
Cedar Court’s General Manager Kirsti Wilkinson added:
“We are delighted to extend our partnership as the Official Hotel Partner of Huddersfield Town; the 2013/14 season promises to be a fantastic year for both the hotel and the Club.
“We currently investing a substantial amount of money within the hotel and there are some exciting plans for the future of Cedar Court Hotels over the next 12 months. Combined with some exciting events in the diary, it promises to be a big year both for the ‘Yorkshire Club’ and Yorkshire’s largest independent hotel collection.”
