Totally committed to Town Date: 11/07/2013

One of Huddersfield Town’s most active commercial partners has today extended its relationship with the Club for a further two seasons.

Huddersfield-based Total Foodservice first signed a partnership deal with the Club ahead of the 2012/13 season and subsequently became a big supporter of Town’s ‘Keep It Up’ campaign through its support of the Pedal for Pounds 4 and Walk for Pounds fundraisers.

The company has also become an integral part of the ‘Early Kick-Off’ breakfast club project run by the Town Foundation, which has now served over 30,000 healthy and nutritious meals to school pupils across Kirklees (click HERE for more information).

Most recently the food supplier began to provide the new kitchen facility at Canalside with food.

Now Total Foodservice has signed a two year renewal with ‘The Yorkshire Club’ and to celebrate Ajin Abraham from the Club’s Commercial Department joined Managing Director, Simon Howarth, Key Account Manager and Teresa Whyte, from Total Foodservice in front of their specially branded 18 tonne ‘Town’ truck!

Ajin commented:

“Over the past 12 months, Total Foodservice has become a very important partner of Huddersfield Town in a number of different areas and we’re delighted they have signed up for another two years.

“They’ve really helped us make a difference in our area over the past season through initiatives such as the breakfast clubs and we’re really looking forward to furthering our working relationship over the next two years. Times are difficult and it is a testament to their commitment to help us make a difference in the community which sees Total Foodservice continues its relationship with us.”

Simon Howarth commented:

“Our partnership with Huddersfield town very much cements our roots here in Huddersfield. It offers us many opportunities to be part of the local community through networking, trading with local businesses and by working with the Huddersfield Town Foundation to make a difference to our town. This is an important relationship which we are looking forward to growing further over the next two years.”
