December sees the return of Huddersfield Town’s annual Chairman’s Lunch – and the first ‘Captains of Industry’ have been confirmed.

Huddersfield Town is delighted to announce Tyrone Nurse, Andrew Gale and Eorl Crabtree as the next captains to join Jason Robinson OBE and Commercial Director Sean Jarvis on stage at the event.

Tyrone Nurse will discuss his career as a Boxer, which saw him lift the British super lightweight title in 2015.

The 27 year-old from Huddersfield, who won 35 out of 40 fights, will be able to give an insight on what it’s like in the ring.

Andrew Gale, who recently visited Huddersfield Town’s Academy, will also join Sean Jarvis on stage to discuss his role as First XI Coach of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

‘Galey’ is not only a big Huddersfield Town fan but was also the first Yorkshire Cricket Club Captain to lift the LV County Championship for 13 years in 2014!

He will be able to give experiences from his glorious years in cricket.

Finally, former Huddersfield Giants prop Eorl Crabtree will be at the event. The 35 year-old retired from Rugby League on 7 November 2016 ending his 16 year playing career with the Giants.

The one-man club featured over 400 times for the Giants and will be able to give an insight into playing the sport and playing for his country, which he represented on 14 occasions.

Jason Robinson OBE, who was confirmed last week, will discuss his amazing career, which saw him represent England in both Rugby Union and Rugby League.

One of only a handful of dual-code rugby internationals, Jason will discuss his amazing sporting career as well as his experiences off the field following his retirement – as well as his soft spot for Huddersfield Town!
