Huddersfield Town said thank you to its commercial partners on Friday with a Christmas get-together at Northern Taps!
During the ‘New Era’ of Huddersfield Town under the Chairmanship of Dean Hoyle, one of the Club’s focal areas has been on the offering to local businesses, with the goal of becoming a ‘hub’ for the Kirklees and wider business community to come together and join forces.
Since 2009, the Club has now brought over 60 businesses on board as official partners, varying from national firms such as Sainsbury’s and PUMA to local firms like Stafflex and Radcliffe Construction.
As such, it was fitting that the event was held at Northern Taps in Huddersfield town centre. The sister establishment of player sponsor Herbert’s Bar, Northern Taps has fully embraced its relationship with Huddersfield Town – recently opening its new ‘Rekorderlig Suite’ in honour of Town’s main shirt sponsor with furniture provided by club partner Andy Thornton!
Attendees included, among others, representatives from club partners Stockleys Sweets; Ramsay Clay; Spring Partners; Strikes CS; the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Kirklees College.
Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:
“Over the last five seasons we’ve created a business community at Huddersfield Town and it was great to be able to thank them at Northern Taps on Friday.
“The support of local firms is vital to the sustainability of the Club moving forward, but it’s also great to see them working together on superb initiatives such as Northern Taps’ new Rekorderlig Suite.
“I’d like to extend my thanks to everyone at Northern Taps for hosting the event and take this opportunity to thank every one of our business partners for their continued support.”
