The Occasional Reporter is the latest winner of Huddersfield Town’s Shooting Stars award in association with Lucas Lee & Partners.

The Occasional Reporter helps people celebrate life’s big events and celebrations. Bringing over 13 years’ experience in journalism to her new venture, Lauren Holden, aka The Occasional Reporter, creates personalised newspaper ‘front page’ prints, which feature three articles about you or your recipient. Set up in Huddersfield a few short years ago, the online gifting brand has gone on to make newspapers for customers as far away as the US and Australia.

Lauren Holden, Owner of The Occasional Reporter said:

“I’m absolutely over the moon to be presented with this award. I love writing about people and their unique stories – and this accolade will help spread the word and allow me to continue to help people relive special days and fond memories. As a Huddersfield Town fan, I hope to be able to champion the players in a personalised newspaper page of their own, which will mark an exciting year for the town and team.”

Chris Lee, Managing Director at Lucas Lee & Partners said:

“Lauren is a real credit to her work, the articles she has produced are fantastic and really capture the moments the customers are wanting to cherish forever.”

“I really hope The Occasional Reporter goes from strength to strength, and Lauren can eventually go into this full time.”

Sean Jarvis, Commercial Director of Huddersfield Town commented:

“It was a pleasure to meet Lauren, the work she does is to the highest quality, and it’s great she has stayed in the area after studying here at The University of Huddersfield.”

“I look forward to seeing the personalised page she does for the Club, which we may have available via the Club megastore.”
