As well as bringing in vital funds for the Club as it strives to become more sustainable through sales of perimeter boards, bespoke events, match sponsorship, hospitality, adverts on the John Smith’s Stadium Big Screen and adverts in Town’s match day magazine Give Us An H, some of Town’s commercial deals include email e-shots and social media activity.
Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis today urged the Club’s fans to support the commercial partners whenever possible:
“We now have around 80 local, regional and national companies from all walks of life paying considerable amounts of money to support Huddersfield Town as official club partners.
“I’m sure many Town fans will use these businesses in their everyday lives already, but whenever you’re making a purchase I’d encourage everyone to look at the companies we work with as an option.
“If you ever purchase something from one of our partners, please tell them you are a Town fan and you’re aware of their support!
“The importance of support from our local business community cannot be overstated as we look to make Huddersfield Town a more sustainable operation.
“On occasion, we will send supporters special offers and information from a selection of these partners. Often these are special offers from the company exclusively to our fan-base. Even if that particular offer isn’t of interest to you, I’d urge fans not to unsubscribe from everything the Club sends via email; the next offer could be right up your street!”
