The logo of Stafflex, one of Huddersfield Town’s longest serving commercial partners, will once again appear on the team’s shorts next season thanks to the renewal of the partnership between the two organisations.
For the fourth successive season the name of Town’s Official Recruitment Partner will appear on the shorts of the first team’s home and away kit, cementing their position as one of the Club’s firmest supporters from the local business community.
Stafflex initially joined forces with the Terriers eight years ago before later appearing on the Club’s shorts for the first time during the 2007/08 campaign.
Together with Stafflex, Town launched ‘HTAFC Employment’ in September 2010; a scheme that aims to find the Club’s supporters temporary and permanent employment by utilising Stafflex’s expertise and Town’s official club website.
More recently the name of the Huddersfield-based agency has been on the back of the shorts since the start of the 2010/11 season.
To celebrate the renewal, Huddersfield Town’s Chief Executive Nigel Clibbens and Senior Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson joined Stafflex Directors Brian Stahelin and Paul Balderstone at the Stadium (pictured above).
Town’s Senior Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson commented:
“The Club will be as proud as ever to sport the logo of Stafflex on our shorts once again next season.
“Their support since 2007 has been a massive asset to the Club. It’s vital that Huddersfield Town – a community club – gets the backing of its local business community and Stafflex has been one of our staunchest supporters.
“On behalf of the Club I would like to thank Brian, Paul and the rest of the team at Stafflex for their support – I look forward to working with them again.”
Paul Balderstone of Stafflex added:
“Stafflex believes in supporting the local community and are delighted to sponsor the team for yet another year. Good luck to all at Huddersfield Town for the coming season!”
