Huddersfield Town ran a ‘First Class, Master Class’ trip to London for around 20 special guests in association with club partners Grand Central Rail and Dale Carnegie.

Alongside Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis and Commercial Manager of Partnerships John Williams, the guests – all from Town’s business partners – started their day early, boarding the 7.19am Grand Central service to London Kings Cross at Brighouse station.

After First Class travel to the capital, the party arrived at the Houses of Parliament to enjoy a full tour courtesy of the MP for Colne Valley – and huge Huddersfield Town fan – Jason McCartney. That included a look at the front benches of the chamber and exclusive looks inside the Queen’s robing room and the House of Lords!

After lunch in the exclusive Portcullis House, Jason held a special question and answer session with the guests too.

It was a return to Grand Central’s First Class seating soon after as fellow club partner Dale Carnegie took centre stage, delivering one of its Master Classes to the guests on perspectives in the workplace.

Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:

“It was great to receive such positive feedback from all the guests on the trip. It was a very impressive day; one that makes you proud of the heritage and traditions that continue until this day. I’d like to thank everyone who attended and in particular our club partners Grand Central Rail, Dale Carnegie and Jason McCartney MP for making all this possible.”
