To cope with the level of demand, the company has expanded its offices, giving it the potential to create further jobs in the region.
John Winter and Co beat some stiff competition to the March award, including Direct2Mum, Standard Wool, Calrec Audio, Advanced Actuators, Curtis Furniture, Proactis, Aquabirths, Epiphany, Caddick Group, Fyffes, Beaumont Legal, Banana Moon Workshop, Vapour Media, Vertu Motors, Group Rhodes, Sanderson Precision Engineering and Airedale International.
Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:
“John Winter and Co is a fantastic example of a ‘hidden gem’ of a company in the West Yorkshire region. It is an industry-leader in its sector, with a booming export business – and its right in our heartland.
“In a tough economic climate, the business is celebrating record economic growth and has made sound investments in its infrastructure that should future proof the company for years to come.”
