Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis was the special guest speaker as the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) held its October meeting on Thursday.
The Federation of Small Businesses is the UK’s largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms. Formed in 1974, it now has 200,000 members across 33 regions and 194 branches – including the aforementioned Kirklees branch.
This meeting, held at Town’s very own Canalside training complex, saw Sean give a presentation to the FSB members about Huddersfield Town’s off-the-field activities and how getting involved with the football club can help their businesses.

Town’s Commercial Director Sean explained:
“There are a lot of up and coming Kirklees-based businesses in the FSB’s membership and I was delighted to be asked to present to them at Canalside on Thursday night.
“The Club prides itself in being central to the local business community and our involvement with the FSB fits with our strategy, which is to create a vibrant business hub centred around Huddersfield Town.
“Hopefully presenting to some of the FSB members on Thursday was the first step towards creating links with new businesses in our area.”
