Chris Hutchings and Keith Hanvey are the latest former Town stars to be announced in the line-up for Boothy’s Invitational Golf Day.
Hutchings, who made over 100 appearances for Town scoring 10 goals, and Hanvey, who starred in over 200 games, will take part in the event on Thursday 22 May.
The day will start with breakfast from 11am the ahead of the 1pm, 18 hole shotgun start at Woodsome Hall Golf Club. After a full day of golf alongside Town legends, guests will enjoy a two course evening meal ahead of the prize presentation.
Hanvey and Hutchings will be joined on the day by former Huddersfield Town Manager Peter Jackson, who made almost 200 appearances in four season for Town before returning in 1997 for the first of his two stints as Manager of the Club, the second of which featured victory in the 2004 Play-Off Final at the Millennium Stadium. Former Town favourite Steve Kindon will also appear alongside the trio of Tom Cowan, Darren Bullock and Ronnie Jepson, who were all a part of the 1994/95 team that won promotion to Division One.
Club Ambassador Andy Booth is looking for teams of three to take part in his day-long event, with each team’s fourth player being someone from his extensive list of former Town players, sportsmen and other celebrities.
