GRAND CENTRAL EXTENDS ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH TOWN Date: 20/05/2018

Huddersfield Town and train operator Grand Central has renewed its commercial partnership for a third consecutive year, agreeing a further two years as the Club’s official travel partner.

Grand Central is an established train operator that provides direct rail connections from towns and cities in Yorkshire and the North East with London.

Established in 2007, the company was recently revealed as Britain’s best value long distance train operator for a fifth consecutive year by the National Rail Passenger Survey.

Grand Central prides itself on a service that offers plenty of leg room, table seating, free Wi-Fi throughout the train, at seat service in First Class and an on-board buffet.

The operator provides direct West Riding services between Bradford Interchange, Low Moor, Halifax, Brighouse, Mirfield, Wakefield Kirkgate, Pontefract Monkhill, Doncaster and London King’s Cross.

Huddersfield Town’s very own Charity, the Town Foundation, has also felt the support from Grand Central, as the rail operator provided complimentary travel as part of the Town Foundation’s free trip to the seaside for hundreds of children in the local area.
