PPG Canalside hosted the inaugural ‘Business Breakfast’ meeting on Monday morning, held in association between Huddersfield Town and Louise Woollard Financial.
Over 50 representatives from regional businesses attended the event, which was held at the Club’s training ground between 8am and 9.30am.
Attendees met and exchanged best practises and ideas over bacon sandwiches and other refreshments before Louise Woollard took to the stage to set the scene.
Chris from the Louise Woollard team then took centre stage to discuss the impact the budget is expected to have over the course of the next year, including a key speech on wealth management and how to plan accordingly given current ISA allowances and other challenges – both now and in the future.
Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:
“I am delighted with the array of businesses that attended our first ‘Business Breakfast’ and, on the back of it, I’m already looking forward to the next quarterly event.
“Louise Woollard and her team at Louise Woollard Financial have extensive experience in helping businesses and individuals with their wealth management and I think everyone that came to PPG Canalside on Monday got an invaluable insight into what to expect over the coming months and years thanks to the insightful presentation.
“This event was different to any other breakfast meeting I’ve attended due to the in-depth, practically useful information that was imparted and I’m sure everyone else felt the same.
“Our challenge now is to ensure the subsequent meetings are just as insightful – which I am sure they will be!”
