Coconoil Becomes New Partner Date: 25/09/2014

Huddersfield Town’s players and fans alike will benefit from the Club’s new commercial partnership with Coconoil.

Coconoil is the UK’s longest established brand of Virgin Coconut Oil.

The brand was founded as a direct result of a visit made by Garry Stiven, Coconoil’s founder, to Sri Lanka in the direct aftermath of the dreadful Asian Tsunami of Boxing Day 2004.Coconoil has helped initiate a completely new export market in Sri Lanka and created many new jobs in both the agricultural and industrial sectors there.

Coconoil will now be used by the kitchen at PPG Canalside for the players’ nutritional needs, whereas Town fans will be able to claim a 15% discount when purchasing Coconoil from 1 October 2014.

To celebrate the new partnership, Coconoil’s Garry Stiven visited PPG Canalside to deliver the first batch to Town defender Joel Lynch and John Williams from the commercial team.
