Over 30 Club Partners attended the latest ‘Business Breakfast’ in association with Louise Woollard Financial and Huddersfield Town.

Huddersfield Town teamed up with its preferred Financial Adviser and Club Partner Louise Woollard Financial once again, with these business breakfast events running into their fourth year.

The event, held at the Club’s PPG Canalside on Friday 6 April 2018, offered partners of Huddersfield Town a unique insight into investing in uncertain times, whilst also going into detail about the business landscape of Huddersfield.

The first guest speaker Chris Cahill, went into detail about the current economic market, whilst discussing investing in business as we enter the new tax year.

Greg Wright, the Deputy Business Editor at the Yorkshire Post, then took to the stage and explained how he sees the business landscape in Huddersfield. Greg continued on to discuss the impact Town’s promotion to the Premier League has benefitted the local community, whilst admitting there’s a lot of things in Huddersfield that businesses can be proud of.

The interesting and thought-provoking event, which started with a tasty breakfast, was thoroughly enjoyed by Town’s Club Partners.

Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:

“This is something we’ve done five or six times now and every time we come here it’s like a school day, because you learn a little something you can take away or use to develop your business.

“Personally, I think these are very good because it encourages not only that education but communication between companies to work together.

“It’s something we are proud of and I think it’s good for the area as well. It was really interesting and really useful.”

Louise Woollard added:

“Each year the numbers of people attending have grown and there’s always new faces in the room; it’s a great way to start the day.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring all the Huddersfield Hundred Partners together and perhaps people who are outside the group looking to join it.

“It’s a great opportunity to showcase my business as well, in a local context at the heart of the Football Club’s Training Ground.”
