National and local businesses alike are getting on ‘board’ with Huddersfield Town in record numbers!
Town’s two premier advertising board positions – ‘tier one’ on pitch side and ‘tier two’ on the front of each stand – have now completely sold out for the remainder of the 2013/14 Sky Bet Championship campaign; that’s almost 100 boards in total.
Huddersfield Town’s Advertising Manager Mark Jacobs commented:
“Although our perimeter board advertising was popular last season, we’ve enjoyed new levels of success when it comes to the number of companies taking perimeter boards at the ground for our matches this season, as I hope the supporters have noticed, and I would like to thank all of them for their support of the Club this season.
“We have a wide range of companies supporting us and the diversity just shows how flexible perimeter board advertising is. National brands, such as Rekorderlig and Covonia, buy boards with us to take advantage of television highlights for national brand exposure, whereas Huddersfield firms such as Circle Fashion, a new menswear store in the town centre, want to raise their profile by getting their name out there to 14,000 local people every week.
“We also go above and beyond the usual ‘selling’ of a board. It’s not just a case of parting with your money and receiving the board. We work with the companies that support us to ensure they get the most from their deal and it opens up a world of networking opportunities, as the Club has become a hub for businesses in the region under the Chairmanship of Dean Hoyle.”
“I would stress once again that every penny they spend goes directly to Huddersfield Town and makes a massive difference to the Club’s progression.”
There are still a limited number of crowd-facing boards available in front of the Britannia Rescue Stand, plus new crowd-facing banner sites on tier two – ideal for local businesses looking to advertise directly to Town fans.
There are also new banner positions available at the Club’s Canalside training ground, including new opportunities on the state of the art 3G pitch; ideal for press coverage and awareness for local private bookings.
