BUSINESSES GATHER FOR FIXTURE RELEASE BREAKFAST Date: 14/06/2018

A congregation of Huddersfield Town  Match Day Sponsors, Boxholders, Club Partners, Local Businesses and Staff gathered at the John Smith’s Stadium on Thursday morning for the unveiling of the club’s fixtures ahead of its second season of football in the top-flight.

The event was hosted by Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis as he welcomed Chairman Dean Hoyle onto the stage to review all the highs and lows of the previous season before previewing the upcoming 2018/19 Premier League campaign.

Around 200 attendees enjoyed a Full-English Breakfast before Town’s opening game of the season was unveiled as a visit to the John Smith’s Stadium from the 2016/17 Premier League Champions Chelsea for the inaugural fixture.

Following the reveal, there was an opportunity for the businesses to network with other likeminded local businesses and to meet the club’s Commercial Team.

Reservations were also taken for the range of sponsorship and hospitality packages available at each of the club’s Premier League fixtures over the course of the new season.

Huddersfield Town Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:

“Fixture release is always an exciting time, even when we were in League One, we were excited about who we would face. Chelsea and Man City are going to be a tough first two games, but we have earned the right to be here and learnt from the last 12 months.

“These events are about making people feel a part of the fabric of the club, we don’t just publish the fixtures – we want everyone to feel part of it and be part of the Huddersfield Town DNA.

“Our local, national and global footprint is expanding all the time. I’m laying down the gauntlet saying to those businesses out there to cease the day. Take this opportunity to put your brand on a global audience that is interested in Huddersfield and Huddersfield Town, if you don’t you’ll miss the opportunity.

“You chat to everyone and they love and enjoy these events. Some of these people have been here for a number of years, so getting them involved is important because every penny invested into Huddersfield Town is re-invested to help develop the club further.”
