Bury Chairman Stewart Day has today been confirmed as the third guest making up the top panel at Huddersfield Town’s ‘Chairman’s Lunch’ event on Thursday 10 March 2016.
The 33-year-old property entrepreneur will join Wigan Athletic’s David Sharpe, Oldham Athletic’s Simon Corney and Town Chairman Dean Hoyle at the lunch, which will start at noon at the John Smith’s Stadium. Day, who specialises in the development of student accommodation across Lancashire and Yorkshire, rescued the Shakers from liquidation in 2013.
Since his arrival, the Shakers have gone through a massive development. A life-long Bury supporter, Day saw the Lancashire club clinch promotion from Sky Bet League 2 last season and has stated his ambition to be in the Championship within the next five years.
The event will take place at the John Smith’s Stadium, with a focus on ‘A New Breed’ of Chairmen in the Football League.
The other two Chairmen who will make up the panel will be announced in due course. Prior to the Q&A, guests will also enjoy a two course lunch.
Individual tickets for the event, which is sponsored by Barclays, are priced at £50 + VAT, with tables of 10 available for £450 + VAT. For further details or to book your place at the exclusive event, please contact the Events Department on 01484 484183 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
