Club partner Burton Safes has today become the title sponsor of Huddersfield Town’s Golf Day, which will take place at Dewsbury District Golf Club on Wednesday 8 October.
Burton Safes is a leading supplier of luxury, domestic and commercial safes, strongrooms and other secure storage solutions throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
The company has designed and created a one-off safe for Huddersfield Town, which will be on display in the 19th hole at the Golf Day. Created in the Club colours with a detailed airbrushed club badge prominent on the front, the electronic lock, handle and bolt work has been chrome plated to finish the exterior of the safe.
A privately owned business; Burton Safes was founded in 1990 in Kirkburton, near Huddersfield. The business began from humble origins, supplying safes to churches from the owner’s garage. Gradually the range of products and services grew and Burtons Safes is now one of the largest suppliers of safes and services in the UK
Steve Keogh, Business Development Director of Burton Safes, commented:
“Although our business sees us operate in a number of countries, we’re still aware of our origins and proud to be a locally based company. We’re very passionate about working with local people and companies which is why we decided to become a business partner with Huddersfield Town.
“It’s fantastic that we can now promote not only Burton Safes, but also Yorkshire as a place of master craftsmen and women. Our luxury safes have been supplied to some of the most discerning clients around the World so its testament to the quality that’s right here on our doorstep.
“This is our first year as a partner and we’re delighted to join the team and indeed sponsor the Golf Day. From the other business partners I’ve been speaking to, I’m told the golf days are great fun and I can’t wait to be part of it – hopefully I won’t lose too many in the rough!”
At the Golf Day, favourites from the First Team squad and technical staff will tee off alongside guests in a Ryder Cup-style Stableford competition.
Teams of three, who will play alongside a member of the squad, are available to book now for £450+VAT, with the entry fee including bacon sandwiches on arrival, 18 holes of golf with a shotgun start at 1pm, the chance to play alongside a First Team player, refreshments around the course and a two course meal after the round.
