Huddersfield Town held its latest Golf Day, sponsored by AMP Group, on Friday 21 April 2017 at Huddersfield Golf Club.
Teams of four, took part in this day-long Blue vs White golf event, which started at 11am.
Bacon sandwiches were provided on arrival ahead of the 1pm, 18-hole shotgun start, with all participants enjoying a two course evening meal and receiving a gift after a full day of golf.
Throughout the round, the golfers were provided with refreshments from Heineken, Shepley Spring, Haighs Farm Shop and Approved Foods.
The participants took part in the traditional stableford competition in a Fourball Matchplay format, which is commonly found in the Ryder Cup.
The winners on the day were the team from 3Sixty Insured Ltd after recording 80 points, one point ahead of the teams from Andy Thornton and Abzorb who finished second and third respectively.
There were also individual prizes on offer with Oliver Ellis from the AMP Group winning the nearest the pin competition, Richard Thewlis from Schofield Sweeney walking away with the longest drive accolade and Alan Starling from Miles Group recording the straightest drive.

The next Huddersfield Town event is the prestigious 2017 Annual Awards ceremony on Sunday 30 April 2017, followed by an evening with Ian Wright.
